Abstract
The purpose of this work is research, from epistemological history of knowledge and scientific practices, the formation, uses, and implications of Experimental Philosophy in Colombia between 1826 and 1910. For it, periods are analyzed both in which this philosophical school was developed. One was that, although in both periods this school maintains on the same questions and a same concept, during the sensualist period the Experimental Philosophy was conformed by the Ideology, General and Logical Grammar; and its method was the rational method; whereas in the positivist period it was conformed by the Logic, Psychology, Biology and Sociology; and its method was the experimental method.
