Abstract
This article deals with the relationship between Protestantism and the Cuban Revolution. In a more detailed way, it deals with the Protestantism that supported the revolution and its relationship with the regime established in 1959. The Cuban Revolution was marked by different periods. In the common imagination, the romanticism of the bearded guerrillas dressed in olive green from the 1960s is more densely recorded. During the course of this revolution, there were decades in which the relationship with religious believers was marked by tensions. Difficulties existed even when the faithful openly and honestly supported the revolution. This difficulty, specifically in the Cuban case, occurred because of the influence of the Soviet experience. This article deals with this tense relationship between Protestants who supported the revolution and the Cuban revolutionary regime.
