This paper presents the results of my Master’s Thesis entitled “Representations of Public Space: Citizenship and Political Culture in the First Peronist government”. In general terms, I address the articulation of politics and communication, considering the public space as a matter for primary analysis. To do so, we analyze the news events Sucesos Argentinos, which were shown between films in cinemas. Thus, I will first address the main analysis items: public space, citizenship, culture and political representation. Then, I will present the research questions and methodological approach, and finally some of the main conclusions.
