Abstract

This article present an analysis of the current situation of Colombian nursing at the end of the 20th and beginnings of the 21st century, focused on health practices -professional practices among them- and in regard to the legal and guild situation of the practitioner. It is focused likewise on the impact caused by the law 100 of 1993 or Ler de Seguridad Social en Salud (Law of Social security in Health) in the practice of nursing in Colombia.
